All students residing in the City of Richmond normally attend a catchment school that has been designated by the Board of Education for their particular catchment area, unless granted a transfer under district Regulation 501.8-R.
Students will normally attend the school located in the school catchment area in which their parent's or legal guardian's place of residence is located. School catchment areas are defined and approved by the Board of Education to enable an equitable distribution of student enrollment in all district schools.
If you are unsure what school is in your catchment area, you can use our School Locator to look up the information.
